How to Apply Online to The English Language Centre, York
1. Choose your course
Please choose the course that you would like to study. If you would like any advice on choosing your course please contact us.
Please choose a start date for your course. You can begin your course on any Monday throughout the year. Please tell us the number of weeks that you would like to study, from a minimum of 2 weeks.
2. Your personal details
To register you for your course we need to know some information about you. Please enter this as accurately as possible. We will use this information to contact you about your course, and in support of any visa application. It would also help us to place you in suitable Homestay Accommodation.
3. Choose your accommodation
If you would like us to arrange Homestay Accommodation, please enter this information when applying for your course. Please tell us about any special requirements that you may have for your Host Family (diet, animals, etc.)
Your Homestay Accommodation will be arranged for the same number of weeks as your course.
4. Terms and Conditions of Enrolment
Please read the “Terms and Conditions of Enrolment” before you submit your registration form.
5. Registration Fee
Your place will be confirmed when we receive your Registration Fee of 150 GBP. Methods of payment are:
Telephone: You can pay us direct over the telephone with your credit card details. Please call the school on +44 (0) 1904 672243 and ask to make a registration payment
Cheque: You can send a cheque to us by post. Please make your cheque payable to ‘The English Language Centre’ and send to:

Bank Transfer: You can pay the amount directly into our account by Bank Transfer. If you would like to pay by this method click here for a link to the details.
6. Confirmation of Course
When we have received your completed registration form and payment of the Registration Fee, we will send your course confirmation to the address provided by you. This will include an invoice for payment of the full course fee and accommodation fee, plus a Letter of Acceptance for your course which can be used in support of your visa application.
