York is very well connected to the rest of the UK by rail and by road, so it is easy to plan your journey once you arrive in the UK, and to explore other cities at weekends!

...by train

York is perfectly placed to reach all other major cities.  Only 2 hours from our sister schools in London and Edinburgh, and 1.5 hours to Manchester, you will have no difficulty reaching York once you arrive in the UK.  Manchester Airport even has its own railway station inside so you don't have to leave the airport!

To buy train tickets, try thetrainline.com or East Coast where you can often get good deals when you book in advance!

...by taxi

If you need a transfer from the airport to York, please give us your flight details when you book your course and we will arrange a taxi to meet you.
